As a member of the Art Club, you are deeply committed to the Kunsthaus’s exhibition and education program. Your generous yearly donations are vital to enable artists to realize new works for their shows at the Kunsthaus and to ensure that these exhibitions also strengthen the Kunsthaus Baselland’s international reputation.

Art excursions exclusively for members


The Kunstverein Baselland organizes a carefully curated program of inspiring day and weekend trips for its members every year. The excursions offer unique access to studios, exhibitions and personal encounters with artists, curators and museum directors in Switzerland and abroad, while creating space for exchange and shared experiences among art enthusiasts.

Atelier Mondial
Tuesday, 9 June 2026, 16–18 h
Guided tour offering fascinating insights into the studios of the current residency artists at our neighboring institution.

Day trip to St. Gallen and Appenzell
Friday, 26 June 2026
Studio visits with renowned artist Beni Bischof in St. Gallen and with the well-known personality Sebastian Fässler in Appenzell. Visit to the comprehensive exhibition by Caline Aoun at the Kunstmuseum and Kunsthalle Appenzell, together with director Stefanie Gschwend.

Weekend trips

Manifesta 16 and museum tour of the Ruhr region
Friday–Sunday, 11–13 September 2026
Visits to various exhibition venues of Manifesta 16 in the Ruhr area, including a studio visit as well as museum and exhibition visits, among others to the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck and the Museum Folkwang.

Friday–Sunday, 13–15 November 2026
Visits to the various exhibition venues of this year’s Biennale de Lyon, curated by Catherine Nichols, a friend of the Kunsthaus Baselland.
